Dr. Oluwatoni Eletu (she/her) is a General Adult Psychiatrist with further training in the management of mental health during the reproductive life stages of birthing individuals (persons planning a pregnancy, those who are pregnant or recently postpartum, perimenstrual, perimenopausal). Dr. Eletu practices from a humane, holistic, anti-oppressive and trauma informed framework. Additionally, she has a special interest in working with persons from BIPOC communities.
As a physician, Dr. Eletu seeks to acknowledge and validate the various factors that might influence a patient’s mental health (physical, emotional, spiritual, relational) during an assessment and whilst discussing a treatment plan. She employs various therapeutic modalities including principles of CBT and DBT during an appointment.
