Jane (Xiao Bing) Xu, is a therapist-in-training with extensive experience in coaching, counselling and teaching. She strives to help individual’s emotional regulation and growth, facilitate couples build harmonious relationships and establish bridges of future trust and love between parents and children.
Jane is a compassionate and empathetic EFT therapist-in-training. With over 15 years of experience in coaching, counseling, and teaching, Jane strives to help individual’s emotional regulation and growth, facilitate couples build harmonious relationships and establish bridges of mutual trust and love between parents and children.
Jane is currently pursuing her M.Div. in clinical counseling at Tyndale University. She has been a seasoned intern in Grace Health Centre for one year. Her past experience in counseling and coaching includes being a senior psychological counselor for an international secondary school. Additionally, she has worked as the head coach for Morphos Learning Technologies Inc., where she trains individuals and organizations in counseling and coaching techniques. Jane also holds a Master's degree in Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto and has experience working in Fortune 500 companies.
Jane's style is compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental. She is proficient in a variety of counseling techniques, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Family System (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also employs PEAKS Coaching Techniques and provides spiritual integrated professional counseling for marriage and family relationships, trauma, emotional issues, and personal growth.
Jane and her husband are the China regional leaders of 2 Equal 1, an international Marriage and Family Ministry, where they teach courses such as "Married For Life" and "Parenting For Life" worldwide. They are also working with Canada Campus Evangelical Fellowship (CCEF) to promote emotional health among students.
She is passionate in helping others develop holistic well-beings and build strong, healthy relationships. She believes that compassion, empathy, and a willingness to listen and understand is at the heart of therapy. With her diverse background and extensive experience, Jane is ready to support you in navigating life's challenges and improving your relationships with those around you.
She is currently a therapist-in-training under formal clinical supervision – working towards her Registered Psychotherapist licence under the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO)
