請在安排的預約時間及時接聽,不要屏蔽醫生的電話。 在您的電話評估後,醫生會決定您是否有必要親自到我們的診所看診。

Home  /  Virtual Community Mental Health Programs  /  Hanging Tight on the Ride: In-Depth Application of DBT Skills
Course is currently closed until further notice.
Please check out our new course: Journey to Wholeness - Coming Home to the Self (September 2023).

Do you ever feel that….

  • I have taken different DBT courses and learned a lot of skills but have difficulty putting them into practice?
  • I have tried hard to apply these DBT skills, but they don’t seem to help?

Research has shown that DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) skills are helpful for controlling one’s emotions and for enjoying a more peaceful relationship with oneself and others, and improving communication with loved ones. Having a support group to keep you accountable and to aid in your skills practice regularly is important and this course is designed for this.

Program Schedule:

    • This program consists of 10 2-hour sessions (20 hours total) that will take place on the following Tuesdays:
      • DATEDATES:  Jan 3, Jan 10, Jan 17, Jan 24, Jan 31, Feb 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28, Mar 7 2023
      • timeTIME: 7:00-9:00 PM EST

Each session will revolve around a certain topic that is accompanied by a key conversation and several hands-on exercises that require your active participation.

Spots are limited, and we strongly advise that you commit to attend every session for optimal learning and to ensure a safe environment for all participants.

Registration is closed, thank you for your participation.

Your Takeaway

This virtual group provides a space for you to learn the practical skills of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through mindfulness practice, real case sharing and small group interaction. The program will help you put the skills into practice, increase awareness of thoughts and emotions, develop a healthy, secure social context and connections.
Our group facilitators will provide rich insights, compassion and empathy while challenging you to replace self-defeating beliefs, behaviours and emotions with more positive and productive ones.

Each session is richly packed with 2 hours of skills learning and group participation.
