We are seeking for Physician Psychotherapist(s) to support a high-level of patient mental health needs. Training and supervision is available from certified EFT, AAMFT and AEDP therapist trainers and supervisors. Support to obtain your Focused Practice Psychotherapy designation and the associated 17% premium is available, if interested.
This is an excellent career opportunity for new graduates or physicians looking to expand their practice. Supervision and/or mentoring available from experienced physicians who are also trainers of EFT and AEDP psychotherapy modalities.
Note: If you already have an established practice in GTA but are interested in merging with a bigger clinic for improved efficiencies and lower overhead costs, we are interested to connect with you as well.

Grace Health Centrewas established in 1986 to serve patients in northwest GTA; with a particular desire to help under-served individuals within its community. We serve our diverse patients with genuine respect and love irrespective of their language, religion, culture and background. Our patient population includes new immigrants, low-income families and vulnerable individuals.

You will be joining 6 congenial and passionate physicians in either a Family Medicine, Psychotherapy, or blended capacity. 3 of our physicians have focused designation as Physician Psychotherapist.
Holistic Healing
Our vision has always emphasized on caring for our patients’ complete well-being, which includes the physical, mental, relational and spiritual needs. We believe that when we also explore the psycho-spiritual needs of a patient – it often brings about deep, permanent healing that spans into both the physical and mental wellness of our patients. Varying psychotherapy modalities such as CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR and AEDP are leveraged within our practice.
Preventative Care Emphasis
We commit to proactive Preventative Care for our patients by regularly monitoring patient needs to decrease the burden of disease and associated risk factors. Participation in vaccination education, Covid and Influenza vaccination clinics for the community is also a central piece to our dedication for our patients. Extra online and take-home resources are made available to our patients for continual healthcare support.
Future Generation Mentorship
Flexible start date and schedule (Full-time or Part-time). Very competitive split. Flexible terms. Monthly patient management fee, preventive care bonuses and 10% premium and 20% after hours premium over fee-for service. May start as a locum to assess compatibility.
Waitlist for OHIP Psychotherapy at the clinic is high. Lots of referrals available.
100% of individual and/or group psychotherapy sessions were provided by telephone or video through OTN during the pandemic. We anticipate ~80%+ of care to be provided virtually post-pandemic.
Our practice is located in the Downsview area at the junction of Keele St/Hwy 401. It is highly accessible to major highways. Free parking available. There is a lab, x-ray clinic and pharmacy on-site. Flexibility to work from home or clinic. We use electronic medical records (Telus PSS EMR). With a diverse patient population; ability to speak Italian, Spanish, Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset.
