Endorsement

“Welcome to the Journey of Wholeness, Coming Home to the Self, psycho-educational group based on Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy that I developed with my colleagues.

In this journey, new healing corrective emotional experiences are shaped through encounters with real or imagined significant others and parts of self, building a positive sense of self and other and secure connections, two important foundations for mental health and well-being.

I wish you well in your journey to wholeness as you come home to the self and find your place of belonging, security and harmony within.

You are in good hands with Dr. Wong, one of our highly experienced and creative International Trainers, guiding you in this journey.”

Dr. Sue Johnson

Developer of Emotionally Focused Therapy

  • Don’t let your pain go to waste. When we feel pain, it can make us feel angry, hateful, and frustrated. But it can also teach us about love
  • Discover what makes you, you! Rediscover the key to your past and unlock a profound journey to wholeness through the power of emotions
  • By the power of corrective emotional experiences, you can arrive at a new version of yourself

Though our brains prefer things to be predictable and safe, sometimes our lives throw us curveballs and bring us challenging experiences. Do you ever feel upset, scared, confused, or overwhelmed too?

And when life gets to be so much, we may end up with difficult feelings, thoughts and beliefs. We might even feel ashamed, lonely, or unimportant. Or maybe we might not feel much at all, as if just going through the motions. This can make us disconnected from ourselves and from people who matter to us. When these obstacles prevent us from achieving our goals in our work and relationships, it can make us feel like we are just stuck.

How can Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy help?

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) prioritizes emotions which are key to self-understanding and healing. When we can recognize our patterns of disconnection and emotional regulation, we can make sense of our emotions and use them as a compass for growthWe become unstuck and are open to new experiences and new connections that transform how we relate to ourselves and others.

The EFIT approach aims to help you build secure and strong connections with your inner self and people you care about. This might help you feel more whole, confident, and competent. To heal from hurts and move forward, it is important to have a secure space and supportive attachment resources that help you be grounded.

By joining this group, we will guide you through experiences that help you make sense of your emotions to do just that.

Join us to start the journey!

Come and join us on this journey of self-discovery and healing. Don’t wait any longer to start this transformative journey, where you can feel more alive and emotionally balanced.
